The first film managed to get everyone hooked because of how relatable the audience felt. When Hagrid, played by Robbie Coltrane, took young Harry Potter to Diagon Alley, it was so unforgettable. The trip to Diagon Alley was so remarkable that it seems the viewers felt what Harry was feeling. He had to shop for some of his school supplies including his wand. This made everyone wish that they could also go shop at Diagon Alley.
Harry Potter Films: Seeing Hogwarts For The First Time
Just like when Diagon Alley was revealed, everyone was astonished. The new students were brought there via both and the bewitched great hall of the castle was magical as well. That is the moment when every child in the world hoped that they would get a letter from Hogwarts when they turn 11.
The Hogwarts castle is considered to be one of the most magical places in the film. Harry even thinks of it as his home and it did felt like it if you spent your younger years waiting for the next Potter film.
The Triwizard Tournament
Another magical moment was something so unexpected that made fans fall in love with the Potterverse even more. During Harry’s fourth year, the Triwizard Tournament was held at Hogwarts and two wizarding schools made an appearance.
This is actually the very first time that other wizarding schools were introduced. It became even more controversial when Harry took part in it despite being underage. It turns out that this event made it possible for Voldermort to gain strength. This is also what
Albus Dumbledore was known for being the most powerful wizard of all time. That is why when Snape murdered him in Half-Blood Prince, everyone was shocked. The film made it even more heart-breaking when Harry witnessed it himself.
Dumbledore falling of the astronomy tower also became such a tear-jerking moment, especially when everyone paid tribute with their wands. It also became a shock since Voldemort assigned Draco Malfoy to kill Dumbledore, but Snape did it instead.
Snape Protected Harry
Ever since the first Potter film came out, Snape has been known to be the bad gay. That is why everyone was gobsmacked when the final film came out, and it revealed his true self.
It turns out that Snape has been helping Dumbledore all along and that he found the courage to protect Harry. Snape loved Lily, Harry’s mother, so much that he dedicated his life to protect the boy who lived.
