Live-Action Remakes: Aladdin

The very first one is actually the live-action remake of the animated film Aladdin, and this was released in 2019. The film stars Will Smith as the Genie, which what experts believed as what made the film even more successful. Princess Jasmine was portrayed by actress Naomi Scott, while Mena Massoud was chosen for the role of Aladdin. According to film critics, the remake can be considered as one of Disney’s best ones.

That is because of how it managed to stick to the story by only making some necessary changes. These changes then made the film even better with all the great music and visuals. The animated film was released in 1992, and it even had high scores from the viewers. That is why this live-action one did not disappoint even if you have not seen the original one.

Alice in Wonderland

With such an ensemble cast, Tim Burton decided to take Alice in Wonderland on such a different level. With Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, and Johnny Depp carrying the film, it was a box-office success. Mia Wasikowska played the titular character and she was given some mixed reviews from the critics. The film showcased a teenage Alice which was quite different from the 1951 version.
