Hollywood Movies began with Motion pictures in 1800, the motion toys, designed to create an illusion of motion from a series of display of still frames. Later, in 1900 there were advancements in motion pictures and film technology. Filmmakers started exploring editing, visual flows, backdrops, etc. and pushed their horizons into new creativity. Movie theaters came up to display the movies made inexpensively and easily for the public to watch and also it began as propaganda for World War 1 and a way to generate money for movie makers. At the end of World War 1, Hollywood, a new industry was on the rise in America.
The initial movies made had no sound effects and actors used to enact something to tell as story. Slowly, with technological advancements, the movie industry began to flourish and hundreds of movies were made every year.
This began to rise as stars and directors of the movie received recognition for their creative ideas and trademark movie-making styles. Slowly, Hollywood films started experimenting more and new genres of movies came up such as action, musical, horror, comedy, etc.
The audio tracks added more dynamics and this led Hollywood’s contribution towards World War 2. Gradually, the movies went up to color films focusing on fun, fashion, social statement films.

As time passed by Hollywood movies became more entertaining with the rise of superheroes, car chases, fight scenes, which were more appealing for movie lovers. Eventually, in the new millennium movies saw a drastic change with IMAX, Blu Ray discs, at present, one can watch movies on smartphones, laptops. The credit goes entirely to the OTTs like Netflix. The present era has seen immense change in the movie industry with technological advancements.
The movies have seen a drastic change since their evolution. Despite many tough times with a falling economy and people turning to TV rather than theaters. The movie industry stood still and rose up to the expectations of the public. This proves that Hollywood will remain no matter what and continue to evolve their business in any situation, by entertaining their audiences all over the world.
